Christmas 2005

Published by chris at 1:37 pm under Blogroll

Yesterday morning I returned from a short Christmas vacation in Canada. I somehow managed to drag myself into work just four hours after landing in Zurich. The jet lag wasn’t as bad as I had expected, but I did have a moment of the shakes in the afternoon.

The week was spent with family and included games, building kapla towers, standing in line at the passport office, shopping, snowshoeing, eating, and relaxing. It was a perfect break and my brother has posted some photos on his website. Happy new year everyone!

Hey chris – thanks for stopping by my blog. It’s awesome that you have been able to stay in Switzerland so long. Way cool. I’ll have to read more about your adventures.

Why did you decide to move to Switzerland? I did it too in Jan 2002, but the permit lead me to Canada…

    Hi ExpatTraveler,

I got here seeking adventure after finishing school at UofA in Edmonton. The job promised business trips around Europe. How could I say no to seeing Europe for free? My plan was to stay for a year but that has grown to five. I love it here.

Thanks for commenting and good luck hitting 30! See you around.
